Peer Mentoring: Mount Carmel is proud of its young men who are committed to providing leadership and support to students throughout the year as Peer Mentors. This year there are 50 peer mentors who work closely with the Campus Minister and faculty to facilitate the smooth transition of the Freshmen at Mount Carmel. Several times a semester the peer mentors meet with their designated small group of Freshmen building relationships of trust and friendship. The peer mentors are integral to the Freshmen, Sophomore and Junior retreat program leading small group discussions and supporting the retreat team. Their leadership, enthusiasm and maturity provide a powerful witness to the strong spirit that Mount Carmel proudly claims.
