"Won't Back Down"
Stevie Bajenski, or Budge, as he was fondly referred to as, was an impact player in the game of life. He was a Sr. 2nd baseman for his Mount Carmel Caravan. He was to be this years Captain & team leader. Unfortunately on August 28th, 2009 we lost him unexpectedly & tragically from post surgery complications to correct his aeortic stenosis. He had a passion for life, which centered around his love for his family, friends, MC & baseball. He lived a lifetime in his short 17 years. And, while his time here with us wasn't long enough, he managed to touch thousands of lives & teach us some very valuable lessons: each day is a gift, so be happy & live each day to the fullest, only worry about what you can control not what you cannot, play the cards dealt to you without complaint, do it the right way & you'll never have any regrets, view adversity as merely another challenge to overcome, don't back down, be a man of character & integrity, always follow the golden rule, be a team player, make a difference everyday.
