Caring For The Next Generation of Carmel Men Planned giving is an important part of our personal finance planning. Many of us spend the majority of our lifetime working to provide our families with all the necessities of life, while at the same time investing a portion of our income for our retirement. Making sure our loved ones are taken care of, and making sure our own needs are met, are unique responsibilities. Planned giving, when done right, benefits our family members and others who are important to us. Planned giving provides for the future of your own family, and at the same time, can also support the mission of Mount Carmel High School. Planned gifts, such as bequests and income-producing gifts can be used to benefit Mount Carmel for generations to come. The Shoulder to Shoulder Society was established to honor those alumni or friends who have made provisions for Mount Carmel through their will or another type of planned giving. Although planned gifts are not new to Mount Carmel, this society allows us to show appreciation to the alumnus or friend, or member of their family.
