Honors/Advanced Placement Program

    Mount Carmel offers a variety of Honors and Advanced Placement classes designed to challenge each student and to prepare him for success in the college or university he decides to attend.  Over the years our Honors students have matriculated to such prestigious colleges and universities as Notre Dame, the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Harvard, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, West Point, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, Stanford, Duke, Cornell and many others.  Our Honors Faculty is well qualified, both with teaching experience and advanced degrees.  The combined years of teaching experience among the Honors Faculty is over 350 years, with 85% of those teachers having taught over 10 years.
