MC Essay Contest!

Director of Communication Matt Kellam held a Student Essay Contest at Mount Carmel recently. Students were challenged to write an essay entitled "What Mount Carmel Means To Me." The winning articles are going to appear in the
Spring Edition of Carmel Life, the school's magazine for alumni, parents and friends.

The Co-Winners of the contest are both sophomores, Anthony Thompson from Chicago-Lake View and Mike Torelli from Tinley Park.

Finalists for the contest were Justin Bandyk (Homer Glen), Karl Jackson (Chicago-Avalon Park), Ryan McGlynn (Chicago-Mount Greenwood), and Michael O'Brien (Chicago-Bridgeport).

Taking home Honorable Mention acclaim were Kirk Hooker (Chicago-Beverly) and Michael Ivy (Chicago-Chatham).
