Creative Writing

Students in Creative Writing club work to develop skills in various genres of creative writing. Through learning about the writing process, workshops, and writer's circles, students receive feedback on their pieces in a setting that encourages creativity in the focused genre

The goal for all students' pieces is publication. Depending on the genre, the club members work to find a medium that the author can see their work realized in a public setting. Publications are contacted to publish short stories and essays. Play and screen-writers' collaborate with MC Drama club to act out their work.
