Driving to Mount Carmel
Many students choose to drive and/or carpool to school everyday.
Students who drive to school can purchase a parking permit from the Caravan Spirit Store. With plenty of Parking spaces available, Mount Carmel does not limit the number of student parking permits that are issued.
Private Buses and Vans
Mount Carmel’s private bus system transports students from the south and southwest areas of the city, the south and southwest suburbs, the eastside of the city, and Northwest Indiana. The buses offer reasonable rates, flexible routes, and a reliable mode of transportation for hundreds of Mount Carmel students.
Since most Mount Carmel students participate in one or more athletic and/or extracurricular activities, activity buses are available which depart Mount Carmel at 6:00 p.m. The activity buses are offered in addition to the regularly scheduled buses which leave campus at 3:00 each day.
Bus routes are determined each summer based on the location of our student population. If you have any questions regarding a bus route, please contact the transportation director, Mr. Rick Good at 773.324.1020 ext. 213 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
