For the second year in a row, Mount Carmel High School partnered with the DePaul University College of Education and the John and Francis Beck Foundation for the 21st Century Learning Initiative.
CARAVAN BEATS WALKATHON RECORD
Mount Carmel High School students exceeded fundraising records for the 40th annual walkathon by raising $68,000 to support current and future students of the 116-year-old institution.
Reid selected for trip to Iceland for global lesson
Mount Carmel High School graduate Emmanuel Reid, of Beverly, was one of seven students selected to travel to Iceland for a week with the global educational travel program EF Educational Tours. Reid, who will attend Boston University in the fall, was among 250 applicants who applied for the opportunity to be immersed in Icelandic culture and to be featured in a video documented by EF Tours.

Xavier Strong '17 (Chicago, Auburn Gresham) has been selected to represent Mount Carmel High School and the State of Illinois at the 2017 Presidential Inauguration Youth Leadership Congress in Washington, D.C from January 20-22, 2017.
