The Chicagoland Hall of Fame today introduced the Class of 2016 as well as the rejuvenation of the Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Set for honors are the “voice of the Chicago Bulls” Chuck Swirsky, accepting the media award, and special recognition of Don Wilson, Chairman of Chicago’s America Cup World Series, Pat Ryan, Chairman of Chicago’s 2016 Olympic bid, the late Mt. Tournament keeps keepin’ on for Kennelly scholarship
For the fifth consecutive year, the Keepin’ on for KFK 16-inch Softball Tournament raised thousands of dollars for a noble cause on July 9. Funds go toward the Kevin F. Kennelly Memorial Scholarship Fund, named in honor of a Beverly teen who died in 2011 after he was struck in the head during an incident in Long Beach, Ind.
