Dear Visitors,

Mount Carmel High School is a 120-year-old Catholic, Carmelite institution that builds character in young men and creates a strong foundation for lifelong success. On behalf of the Mount Carmel High School, welcome to our website.

Our focus as a school community is our Three Pillars of Excellence. Pillars built on the foundation of Catholic Education and the Carmelite tradition of inspiring young men to live with zeal for God, for life, for learning. These pillars emphasize our commitment to prepare every student to “Be the best he can be” at Academic Excellence, Embracing Diversity and participation in school Activities. Our commitment to continued investment in technology and skilled faculty and staff enables us to achieve these goals.

I am encouraged by this next generation of students and faculty representing the Caravan and inspired by the Carmelites, alumni, families and friends who continue to invest time and resources to the future growth of Men of Carmel.

This is an exciting time for Mount Carmel as we continue to foster an environment for the 21st-century male learner. As a prospective student, parent, alumni or friend, I encourage you to explore our website and learn more about the Mount Carmel High School community.
May Our Lady of Mount Carmel continue to bless and protect you always.

In Carmel,

Ned Hughes '70
