Society of Saint Cyril

The Society takes its name from Saint Cyril of Jerusalem. St. Cyril was a bishop in the 4th century, and was instrumental at the Council of Constantinople in 381. He is the patron saint of the Carmelite Order and his name was used in 1900 to dedicate St. Cyril College, which became Mount Carmel High School in 1925.
