CLASSES COME TOGETHER FOR THE CAMPAIGN FOR MOUNT CARMEL

7 classes have joined together to raise $532,000 for the Campaign for Mount Carmel. This $15 million capital campaign is set to continue this summer with the renovation of the second floor. Click here to read more…
We are very excited to announce that we have more than $8 million committed toward our overall goal of $15 million. We currently have 7 ongoing class challenges and a metro area challenge. This is bringing in Caravan from all over the country.

Faculty and students have been using the newly renovated third-floor classrooms since November. Mount Carmel Alumnus and current Spanish Teacher and Instructional Technical Coach, Antonio Mota (2002), is utilizing the new space:

"Walking up to the 3rd floor is a transformative experience, literally and figuratively. The new additions to the 3rd floor allow for the boundless possibilities in student engagement and 21st-century learning."

Mandarin Teacher and fellow alum, Mark Antonietti (1984), has taken full advantage of the updated technology. His students use the touch screen to draw Chinese characters, diagram sentences, and review for tests. Having the ability to see each other's work, students can now work collaboratively to create and edit documents, websites, and presentations with embedded audio and video.

If you need additional information, would like to invest in the campaign via personal gift or to set up a challenge, please contact Dave Lenti at 773-324-4547 or dlenti@mchs.org.
