Thank you for your interest in joining the Mount Carmel High School Class of 2030! We’re excited to welcome you to the Caravan family and guide you through the admissions process. To make it easy, here’s what to do:
Step 1: Register for the Entrance Exam
Date: Saturday, December 6th
Arrival: 7:30 AM for check-in. The exam will begin promptly at 8:00 AM.
What to bring: Two #2 pencils
Details: A light breakfast and snacks will be provided. Testing concludes by 11:00 AM for most students.
Testing Accommodations: If your son requires testing accommodations, please email documentation (504 plan, IEP, or Psychological Evaluation) to jgrubisich@mchs.org. Documentation must be received by December 4th to qualify for accommodations.
Step 2: Receive Your Admissions Folder
Students will receive a folder on exam day containing important information, including a transcript request form.
Action required: Submit the transcript request form to your student’s grammar school as soon as possible to complete the application process.
Step 3: Apply for Scholarships & Financial Aid
Applications close December 31st. Don’t miss this opportunity!
Step 4: Schedule a Shadow Day (Optional)
Shadow Days are still available for students who would like to experience a day at Mount Carmel.
