Dear Friends,

Welcome to the official website of Mount Carmel High School. Thank you for taking time to learn about MCHS.  For 122 years, Mount Carmel has offered a Catholic, Carmelite education for deserving young men who seek our mission to live with “zeal for God, for life, for learning.”  In partnership with their families, we work to form men of character and faith and set a strong foundation for lifelong success.

You can get a taste of the Mount Carmel experience from this website, but we hope you’ll visit our beautiful campus to meet the dedicated men and women of our administration, faculty and staff who enliven the Carmel community every day through their care of the students entrusted to us.
At Mount Carmel, we inspire young men to dream big dreams and prepare them to live out those dreams as successful leaders while in high school, in college, careers, their communities and families.  We challenge our students to grow academically, spiritually, socially and athletically through programs and activities that meet them where they are, hold them to high standards, and support them as they achieve new heights.   We blend our storied tradition with a dynamic intent to teach the 21st century male in ways that fit his unique strengths and needs.
Mount Carmel offers hope to a world that sorely needs it.  Our diverse student body comes together daily to form lifelong bonds that transcend not only their high school years but social boundaries, as well. They are the central focus of the Caravan: families who sacrifice to send their sons here; faculty, administration, staff and coaches who care deeply about them; the Carmelites whose charism and values inspire our work; and thousands of alumni and benefactors who invest in the current and future generations of Men of Carmel.

I encourage you to explore our website and learn more.

In Carmel,

Brendan Conroy
