The race to be named the most dominant high school football program in Illinois since MaxPreps became America's source for high school sports is three-headed. While Montini Catholic came out on top of our points system to grab the title, Chicago Mount Carmel and Loyola Academy were right behind the Broncos. Montini (256) edged Mount Carmel (248) and Loyola (242) thanks to five state titles. Larger schools fared the best, yet 4A power Rochester could not be denied by virtue of six state titles since 2006, which we call the MaxPreps era. Read all about it here.
