Time and Cost
- Tickets can be purchased via the links on this page for $50 per couple and $25 per single attendant.
- Students must bring their own ID (school ID/driver’s license) to be admitted.
- Doors open for the dance at 7:00 p.m. - All students must arrive no later than 7:30 p.m.
- Music will stop at 10:00 p.m. - all students must leave the Mount Carmel campus by 10:30 p.m.
Rules and Guidelines
- Only high school students can accompany Mount Carmel High School students to this dance, unless cleared with Mr. Tabernacki/Mr. O’Connor.
- All students will be breathalyzed prior to entering the dance.
- If a student registers a positive result for alcohol, parents will be notified immediately.
- Mount Carmel reserves the right to breathalyze students at any point during the dance, or upon their exit.
- Mount Carmel also reserves the right for chaperones to search students’ personal belongings upon entry.
- Students arriving later than 7:30 p.m. will be required to assist with cleanup after the dance.
- Students must remain in the building until 10:00 p.m. No student will be allowed to leave early.
- All attire must be semi-formal and appropriate:
- Young Men: suit coat/sweater and tie, with matching dress shirt and dress slacks; students may not wear jeans, baseball hats, or gym shoes.
- Young Women: knee-length or long dresses. Young women may not wear low-cut or extremely short dresses and their midriffs must be always covered. Dresses with transparent mesh over the chest or lower back/sides are also inappropriate. Shoes must be always worn.
- Students not in accordance with the dress attire are subject to removal from the dance.
- All dancing must be appropriate: no suggestive dancing, juke dancing, front to rear grinding, or moshing.
- Safety is a shared responsibility - everyone is responsible for their own safety when dancing
