Mount Carmel High School Class of 2028 Information

Thank you for your interest in joining the Mount Carmel High School Class of 2028. Here are a few things to help you begin your journey with the Caravan.

Entrance Exam
December 2, 2023
Mount Carmel High School administers the High School Placement Test (HSPT) to current 8th graders. The Entrance Exam will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. for check-in. Students need to bring two sharpened #2 pencils. Calculators are NOT allowed.

Testing Accommodations:
- If your student needs testing accommodations for the Entrance Exam, please click here to complete this form.
- All IEP, 504s and/or neuropsychology evaluations should be emailed to Margaret Joyce at mjoyce@mchs.org
- The deadline for requesting testing accommodations is November 28, 2023. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Margaret Joyce at mjoyce@mchs.org.

Scholarship and Financial Aid Applications Close
December 22, 2023

Applications for scholarships and financial aid are currently open. Please make note of the December 22 application deadline. Click here to begin the scholarship and financial aid applications. Families looking to receive financial aid and scholarships must complete the Financial Aid Application as well as applications for scholarships that require them. Families should also look to the third party scholarships and their deadlines.

These deadlines help to provide families with a timely acceptance and financial aid award package.
