Mount Carmel celebrates a night of champions
Every year Mount Carmel takes time to celebrate past championship teams. The event formerly known as “Carey Fagan Day at the Races” is now known as Night of Champions. This year's event was held on January 13 at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park. The event welcomed more than 230 alumni, parents, and friends and raised more than $25,000. All athletic teams and academic clubs had an opportunity to raise funds for their particular sport or club. Donations from the Night of Champions helped with the costs associated with all 17 sports and 28 clubs at Mount Carmel.
The coaches, faculty, and staff at Mount Carmel strongly believe that the key to success as a student is involvement. We encourage every student to invest himself in at least one extracurricular activity, and most choose to take advantage of multiple opportunities. Whether a student's interests are athletic, cultural, societal, academic, artistic, or service-oriented, Mount Carmel offers programs that will match every student's passion.
